A Letter From a Student

I know a lot of us feel that we can't make a difference; I used to think the same way. I thought that the "adults" should be the ones to go out there and make a difference. Sure, we could help them out with the little things, but we really shouldn't do the "important" jobs… I was wrong.  Now more than ever we are the ones that need to make a difference: we need to get out there and change the world. One day we will be the adults, but we need to take action before that time… way before.

Believe it or not the adults aren't able to do half of the jobs that we are able to. They can't go back to school and minister, or usually they can't become "the best friend" that a person needs or be the one they most trust.  The sad truth is a lot of the adults are becoming worn out and stretched to their limit from trying to do our job.  That needs to stop, we need to take action, we need to keep faith, hope, love; we need to find wisdom, understanding and trust. We need to do our job and everything that we can do in our job.

We can make a difference and we need to. We are able to do just as much and sometimes more than adults. To do this we have to pray for God's will in our life, we need to seek God; we need to listen hard for His voice. We need to proclaim our faith, let Jesus shine through us and show God's love, mercy and grace.  Together we can do this. We can become strong soldiers for our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him all things are possible. Miracles can be performed and sometimes that's what we need.

I encourage you to think about things: what can God do through you, what can God do through us? He can do a lot through us if, and only if, we are willing. I ask you to be willing for your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today, and for the rest of your life. Let him work through you, and He will.
