Team Narrow Road has some exciting news to share! Taylor, Erin and Lydia Thomas will be leaving for India on May 18th for a six month assignment. After a very successful short-term trip two years ago we have decided to continue to work in India on a longer-term basis. As Christianity is growing rapidly in India, it is coming through increasing hostility and violence toward the gospel. In the last two years alone radical Hindu extremist groups have taken over many provinces and laws have been passed to tighten the country’s grip on Christian evangelism. In fact, an area we worked in known as Karnatica has been featured in many religious publications for its increased persecution of Christians. The Thomas’ will be living in a city called Velore, not many miles from there.

Taylor and Erin will both be involved in Bible teaching, children’s programs, and helping at two local orphanages. Taylor will spend time training pastors, preaching in churches and open air campaigns, as well as leading efforts to launch a church on a piece of property that Narrow Road and another India based ministry purchased in the center of a Hindu village.

We ask that you would pray for Taylor, Erin and Lydia often. Please pray that God would protect them, provide for their needs and receive much glory, honor and praise for the work they accomplish!
