Houtzdale Youth Center Update
September, 2007

I remember standing in the middle of a very large cinderblock building 2 years ago, trying to envision what God would do with it. I closed my eyes and tried to picture the day when I would stand in the same place and open them, and I would see a fully constructed youth center filled with a big game room, counseling offices, Christian reference library, full kitchen, snack bar, cafe area, internet workstations, and bathrooms with full walk in showers. I remember thinking that a lot of work would have to take place before that vision would be real. 2 years later, I stood in that same spot, opened my eyes and saw the miracle of what God had accomplished!

The renovation of the new Houtzdale Christian Youth Center (yet to be officially named) is now complete to the praise and glory and renown of Jesus Christ! Starting with zero dollars in the bank, and ending with zero dollars in the bank... yet somehow God managed to construct a magnificent facility for His use and His honor! We are so thankful for all of you that caught this vision with us and provided through prayer, finances, supplies and labor. We are looking to have an open house soon inviting all those who played a role in this renovation. We will be opening shortly, and are now praying and trusting God to provide the month to month finances necessary to keep it open and run the ministry that will take place there.
