Tanzania Mission
Trip Narrow Road’s recent trip to Tanzania saw the working of God as Kevin and Taylor visited orphans and widows, preached among Muslims, to large crowds, in small churches, and even to schools of children. We began our trip by busing three hours into the Bush where several days were spent being with the people and preaching Christ and the freedom of the cross two and three times each day. Late
some nights as several of us would be talking, men would suddenly come
into our room asking to receive Christ. Taylor had the joy of leading
them in prayer, and among these men were Muslims and pagans, brought
out of darkness into the glorious light of Christ! We were the first
people outside the Back in Arusha, we visited a small church where we taught each evening. We enjoyed intimate times of prayer with our interpreter’s family, times full of tears and joy—they loved and received us just as theirown family. After Kevin left for home Taylor was invited to several schools as well as to an orphanage. In the schools, occasion came to tell them about Jesus and teach from the Bible. In one class a teacher asked Taylor to pray for children that might have needs. Taylor knelt down with each one at their desk, three children specifically expressing that they wanted to be born again! Taylor led each one in prayer and charged the whole class to follow Christ! Taylor
was unable to travel to the Congo this trip, but will be looking to
in the future. Our contact in Tanzania continues to write how God is
using our previous time there to bring ongoing encouragement to the
churches, healing to marriages, and salvation to the lost! Many greet
the churches in
