Quiet Retreat 2006

The Narrow Road Quiet Retreat is a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to re-focus the hearts and minds of students on Jesus. Because of its goal, the Quiet Retreat is a much smaller trip. This year, we had 12 students and 6 leaders, which turned out to be the perfect amount. The main focus of the weekend was on the
grace of God as depicted in the book of Ephesians chapter 2. Over the course of the weekend, we met a few times for prayer and discussion on the topic of grace, both God’s grace that he extends to us, and the grace that we are to extend to others. When we weren’t meeting, everyone was either off by themselves praying and meditating on scripture, or they were all together playing games and having real fellowship. It was truly amazing to see God’s grace being extended between students, and to see the refreshing and renewal that came from spending time with Jesus.
